They both settle down and prepare to turn out the lights.

9.1 Sarabhai and Dev are preparing for bed. Dev is playing Asteroids on a portable screen of some sort.

Sarabhai: Do you think you are on track to get to where you want to be in Starfleet?
Dev: Actually, I’m already doing what I joined Starfleet to do.

9.2 Sarabhai climbs the ladder to her bunk.

Sarabhai: What, playing twitch games in your pyjamas?
Dev: No, piloting shuttles. I’ve always been mad for ﬂying machines you can ﬂy solo.

9.3 They both settle down and prepare to turn out the lights.

Dev: Free to get in to scrapes in exotic locales … meet dashing airmen … do battle with darstardly sky-pirates …

9.4 Dev imagines herself in the captain’s chair, dreaming of biplanes.

Never sure how those elaborate hairstyles are supposed to be maintained on ship. My compromise is to show Dev with her hair down (she must re-plait it every morning) and Sarabhai sleeping in a futuristic 23rd-century hair net.
