John bet-Orlek

John bet-Orlek is a child of Andorians living and working on Earth. His parents are diplomats and warp engineers, working in Sydney and low Earth orbit depending on which hats they are wearing. He was brought up mostly in Sydney in Australia, and attended the Cochrain Interplanetary School there with lots of other children of Earth residents of extraterrestrial origin. Having been brought up on Earth, John speaks and moves like a human, which many andorians find disconcerting. (We see Swooth teasing him about it in ‘Earth Humour’.)
